Black faces error from camera clipping

In a nutshell: since Blender 2.59, objects in groups used with particles have global x axis aligned with the emitter surface normal.

Mirrored glossy reflections trouble

In short: glossy reflections don’t get reflected in plain mirrors, setting the mirror depth to zero is an imperfect solution.
